James Kiplimo

Development Manager

James' role entails management of the Center’s grants portfolio, seeking new funding, partnership development and providing oversight role to the Monitoring and Evaluation office. He holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Environmental Planning and Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education.

James joined APHRC in January 2012 prior to which he worked at VSO international in the East African region, as the Head of Fundraising and Partnership Development in support of development programs, a position he held for 4 years (2008- 2011). During this period, he was instrumental in developing the fundraising function for VSO in the region. He has also worked as the Funding Manager with ActionAid international Kenya. James is driven by the will and desire to succeed; the constant urge to reach his full potential.
