Julia Ombasyi

Julia has over 10 years experience in administration and currently oversees  administrative services at the Center including, procurement, coordination of transport services and other general services. She holds a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi, a certificate in Secretarial Studies from Kianda College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counseling at the Pan African Christian University.

Julia joined APHRC in January 2006 prior to which she worked at World Vision International within the Global Leadership Development Unit.  In collaboration with the regional coordinator, Julia organized and gave administrative support to the Global Leadership Development students’ masters program.  She has also worked at Citibank N.A and The World Bank Group. Julia is passionate, not just about people, but also about seeing things done well and in order. She also has special interest in Human Resource Management, Community Development and Resource Mobilization.
